A renal panel is a group of tests that determine to evaluate kidney (renal) function. The tests measure levels of various substances, including several minerals, electrolytes, proteins, and glucose (sugar), in the blood to determine the current health of your kidneys.

Ideal Patient: Healthy Adults, Kidney Patients

Testing Recommended: Healthy Adults - Once a Year, Kidney Patients-As needed. 

Testing Time*: 25 mins 

This is a fasted test, Patients are refrained from eating 6-8 hours before testing. Recommended time for testing is in the morning.
